Just an hour’s drive from my house there is the Parco del Delta del Po River near Ravenna.
One of my favorite areas for wildlife viewing is the tower of Valle Mandriole overlooking a wetland of extensive areas.
Although birds are a long way, with good light and telephoto lenses, you can shoot the birds in their environment.
One recommendation: There is a band of criminals who steal the cars parked inside in search of expensive camera equipment, so I recommend you do not leave anything in your car.
